The Appalachian Open presented by CBK Watersports is a highly anticipated worldwide wake surf event that showcases the talents of the best wake surfers in the country. As a qualifier for the World Wakesurf Championships, this event promises to be a thrilling competition with athletes vying for a chance to take the tops honors. This year, the event will take place on June 23rd and 24th at the scenic Winged Deer Park in Johnson City, Tennessee. The park offers a stunning backdrop for the event, with its lush greenery and tranquil waters creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The Appalachian Open is the 5th stop on the World Series of Wake Surfing tour, drawing top athletes from all over the country. Spectators can expect to witness an incredible display of skill and athleticism as the wake surfers ride behind the best wakes in the world, provided by Centurion Boats. The competition will be fierce, with riders pushing the limits of what is possible in the sport.

The event promises to be an exciting and entertaining experience for anyone who loves to be near the water. Located on the grassy lawn shoreline of the 400 foot water channel, spectators will have a front-row view of all the action.
The Winged Deer Park, where the event is taking place, is a perfect location for a family-friendly outing. The park boasts of several amenities, including a playground for kids, trails for hiking and biking, and an amphitheater that hosts live concerts every Thursday through Saturday.
