(June 12, 2024) Johnson City, TN – The Volunteer Wake Surf Classic hosted by CBK Watersports, is set to make waves in Johnson City, Tennessee! The two-day event is admission free and will take place June 14-15 at the scenic Winged Deer Park, promising thrilling wake surfing action and unforgettable experiences for all who attend. With food trucks offering delicious local cuisine, playgrounds for the kids, and a lakefront viewing area at the competition, this weekend will be one for the books. The Silver event is sure to bring some fierce competition as 52 surfers across 18 divisions will be riding the wave of a 2024 Centurion Ri230; the revolutionary boat that boasts a head-turning design and creates an even more impressive surf wave. The Ri230 accommodates 14 people and offers as much as 5400 pounds of evenly distributed ballast. Because of its customizable waves and professional versatility, the Ri230 has become the official towboat of the World Wake Surfing Championship and the IWWF Wakeboard World Championships.

Salute to Service: Operation Wake Surf (OWS) and Centurion’s Salute to Service (S2S) will host and honor servicemen and women, first responders, military veterans, and heroes with the experience of riding waves on the back of a Centurion.
Proceeding each Centurion World Series of Wake Surfing competition, a Salute to Service event is executed in partnership with the local dealer and one of our partner service charities.
