(October 7, 2022 Lake Norman, NC) – Day 2 of the Centurion WWSC was one for the books, as more riders punched their tickets to the finals! With day 2 providing immaculate conditions on the course, we saw some slick butters and huge airs that only a Centurion Ri230 powered from a GM Marine Engine Technology by PCM can produce! Conditions on the shore are equally as impressive, thanks to our Sponsor’s and Vendor’s taking care of the crowd on site!
We wasted no time bringing the heat with Day 2 as we started things off with the Pro Male Surf division including Centurion team riders Tyler Stewart, Jake Breedlove, Keenan Flegel, Connor Burns, and Zane Montgomery. Riders moving on to Saturday’s finals include, Perry Morrison and Garret Ashby from Heat 1, Tyler Stewart and Jake Breedlove from Heat 2, Chad Carlson and Samuel Goncalves from Heat 3, and Keenan Flegel and Connor Burns from Heat 4. Expect the finals of this division to be one of the Marquee events of this week!
Next to the stage was the Pro Female Skim division as Ashley Lnloes and Centurion team rider, Caitlin Wheeler moved on from Heat 1. In Heat 2, we witnessed Whitley Stewart throw down one of the cleanest skim runs in competition, earning herself a spot in the finals along with Bailey Dunn.
A rising star in the Juniors division and proud Centurion team rider, Makenzie Hickey posted the highest score in her division, punching her ticket to Saturday’s finals along with Dillon Sauvageau and Sofia Caywood.
In the Pro Male Skim division, Centurion team rider Keenan Flegel pulled some incredible manuvers and saves out his bag of tricks earning him the top spot amongst the division. He will be joined in the finals by Brock Moody who finished atop Heat 2.
